The Foundation Stage of the Cluster Development Programme has successfully launched with the first two workshops taking place in Zagreb and Osijek on the 13th-14th February and 16th-17th February 2012 respectively. The workshops have been organised in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy.

Student Association of Entrepreneurs Without Borders, which operates within the Faculty of Economics in Osijek, in cooperation with the U.S. University of Illinois atUrbana-Champaign, is organizing a visit by U.S. students Osijek.
Attended the lecture in the BIOS, and visited the Center for Entrepreneurship. Lecturethey gave Bela Ikotić the BIOS and Tomislav Barbaric from the Center for Entrepreneurship.

Within the IPA, Component III, a scheme of grants for business infrastructure -operating program of regional competitiveness, Business Incubator BIOS Ltd.approved a project to build modular halls, with a total value of € 1,391,050.62.Approved grant funding of the European Union for this project amounts to € 999,887.19. The remaining amount will be financed by the City of Osijek, which is co-financed 25.07% of the total project value, ie € 348,736.39. and Business IncubatorBIOS to € 42,427.04.

At the very successful workshop which was held in the conference hall of Business incubator BIOS, lecturer Miroslav Varga informed the attendess about the new form of marketing, who because of the internet allow major changes in the way of approaching customers.

Tempo promjena u digitalnom gospodarstvu sve je brži, a mala i srednja poduzeća nužno moraju pratiti te promjene ako žele zadržati svoju konkurentnost na globalnom tržištu, istaknuto je danas na predstavljaju projekta e-Poslovanje u povodu početaka kampanje podizanja svijesti malih i srednjih tvrtki o važnosti elektroničkog poslovanja.

U Hotelu Osijek 29. lipnja održana je radionica na kojoj je sudjelovao i predstavnik BIOS-a Bela Ikotić. Na radionici je predstavljen projekt "Podrška razvoju klastera" koji se provodi u sklopu IPA IIIc programa pri Ministarstvu gospodarstva, rada i poduzetništva (MINGORP).
