Within the IPA, Component III, a scheme of grants for business infrastructure -operating program of regional competitiveness, Business Incubator BIOS Ltd.approved a project to build modular halls, with a total value of € 1,391,050.62.Approved grant funding of the European Union for this project amounts to € 999,887.19. The remaining amount will be financed by the City of Osijek, which is co-financed 25.07% of the total project value, ie € 348,736.39. and Business IncubatorBIOS to € 42,427.04.
The project aims to construct and equip modular halls, or increase the capacity of the incubator for the admission of new manufacturing and technology-orientedcompanies, with the aim of developing small and medium enterprises and to reduce unemployment in the region. Also, the project will promote entrepreneurship, developtwo new seminars for entrepreneurs (Protection of intellectual property and the impact of EU accession on businesses) and a virtual incubator that will be a BIOS can be easier to offer to those entrepreneurs who are not physically located in the incubator.
Capacity Business Incubator BIOS project will increase office space for 24-11commercial space at ground level (40 - 100 m2) and 13 on the floor (20 - 70 m2). The total gross area will amount to 1873.00 m2.
In the long term, this project is planned for companies operating within the incubatorto create 228 new jobs over the next ten years.
