The BIOS Business Incubator is celebrating three decades of successful operation this year, remaining true to a concept that has proven highly effective from the very beginning. In one place, young companies are provided with access to all the key resources necessary for business development, at significantly more favorable conditions than market rates, during the first five years of their growth. After this period, the space is made available to new generations of start-ups, continuously fostering entrepreneurial dynamism and innovation.

From 1996 to the present day, a total of 268 companies have passed through BIOS, along with an additional 146 virtual tenants—those that have had or still have their registered office there. The visionary decision to construct three buildings, covering more than 4,000 square meters, proved to be an exceptionally successful investment as early as 30 years ago.

Today, companies that began their business journeys at BIOS employ a total of 835 people and generate annual revenues of approximately 90 million euros, confirming the incubator’s role as a strong driver of the local and regional economy.
