The Osijek Startup Accelerator (OSA), involving the BIOS Entrepreneurial Incubator, Tera Tehnopolis, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, the Center for Entrepreneurship, and the Sustainable Development Agency of Antunovac Municipality – RODA, implemented a pre-acceleration program for ten startups as part of the acceleration program conducted by HAMAG-BICRO. The participating startups included Afungus j.d.o.o., K2 Projekti d.o.o., Vanesa Kereš, Acodeon Development d.o.o., PlantOn j.d.o.o., Scoutwizz d.o.o., Solid Code Systems d.o.o., Downtown Game Studio j.d.o.o., Big Small Games d.o.o., and Benjamin Kujavec.
The pre-acceleration program concluded with the presentation of project ideas before a jury composed of three international experts: Noah Paul/Alessio Caracci, Michael Handschur, and Robert Bruckner. During the five-day project idea presentations held in three Croatian cities, a total of 172 competitors showcased their innovative projects.
All ten startups that completed the pre-acceleration program within the OSA Accelerator successfully presented their projects and entered the acceleration program. In addition to free office space and utilities, mentoring, and workshops for further project development, participants in the acceleration program will have the opportunity to apply for a €25,000 grant and a voucher for international business expansion.
