The Minister of Environmental Protection and Green Transition, Marija Vučković, along with the Director of the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund, Luka Balen, handed over contracts awarding funds for projects aimed at removing illegally dumped waste and reducing the consumption of substances that deplete the ozone layer and fluorinated greenhouse gases.

The awarded contracts were signed with beneficiaries who successfully applied to the Fund's 2024 public calls. The City of Osijek submitted a project proposal under this call for the installation of a heat pump at the BIOS Business Incubator. The project's goal is to install a new heat pump to reduce the consumption of ozone-depleting substances and fluorinated greenhouse gases, as well as to optimize and lower energy consumption.
