On Friday, June 6th, 2025, a project activity was held at the BIOS Business Incubator as part of the EU project IntegrAGE, bringing together numerous stakeholders from various sectors of entrepreneurial and social life.

The event began with a Business Brunch, held in a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere that encouraged open exchange of ideas and experiences. During the brunch, a lecture was given by Emilija Malovčak from the BIOS Business Incubator, and participants were presented with the results of the IntegrAGE project, including the Action Plan for Supporting Employees Aged 55+, which sparked great interest. The discussion also addressed the current labor market situation for the 55+ age group, further stimulating dialogue among attendees.

Participants highlighted that such informal gatherings are an excellent opportunity for networking and fostering future cooperation – especially in the field of Age Management, which is becoming increasingly important in creating an inclusive and sustainable labor market.

Following the brunch, the National Round Table – Age Management took place, deepening the discussion based on a previously completed participant survey. The focus was on practical challenges and examples of good practice, which participants recognized as the most effective way of learning and motivation for positive change in their own environments.

During the round table, the concept of Living Learning Labs was also presented as an innovative model that promotes continuous, experiential learning and intergenerational collaboration. The round table was moderated by Sonja Vuković from the Association for Creative Development SLAP.

Among the participants were representatives of business support institutions, the Croatian Employment Service, HAMAG BICRO, the Chamber of Trades and Crafts, the City of Osijek, the Croatian Employers’ Association, the Open University, entrepreneurs and field experts, as well as the Public Institution Regional Development Agency of Osijek-Baranja County.

The event was jointly organized by the BIOS Business Incubator and the Association for Creative Development SLAP. The excellent energy and active participation of attendees confirmed that collaboration on this important topic has only just begun and holds great potential for further development.
