As part of the EU-funded IntegrAGE project at the BIOS Business Incubator, our goal is to promote longer and more meaningful involvement of people aged 55+ in the labour market through flexible work models, mentoring, and intergenerational cooperation.
One of the best examples of how the knowledge and experience of older generations can be usefully applied is the Senior Entrepreneurs Club SENTOR – a non-profit organisation that brings together former and experienced entrepreneurs and managers who are ready to voluntarily provide mentoring support to those facing business challenges.
More than 50 entrepreneurs have already received support through SENTOR’s mentoring programmes, and today, over 35 mentors and co-mentors are actively involved in SENTOR's work. Through individual consultations, concrete advice, and a deep understanding of real business problems, SENTOR supports entrepreneurs across Croatia, demonstrating that experience can be the key to new entrepreneurial success.
SENTOR was also presented at the 3rd EFOS Business Forum, held on October 7, 2025, at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek. The forum was dedicated to entrepreneurship mentoring, and BIOS participated as one of the co-organisers, reaffirming its commitment to developing an inclusive and intergenerationally connected entrepreneurial ecosystem.
