As one of the project partners, the Poduzetnički inkubator BIOS hosted the “IntegrAGE Day at BIOS” event at its premises with the aim of presenting the IntegrAGE project and its key results to citizens in ten European countries participating in the project, including the Republic of Croatia.

The IntegrAGE Project focuses on strengthening the integration of people aged 55+ into the labour market through the development of strategic documents, action plans, educational programmes, a learning platform, and practical tools for employees and employers. Particular emphasis has been placed on supporting organisations in introducing age management approaches and encouraging intergenerational cooperation.

Before the lecture, interested visitors had the opportunity to receive information at the Info Desk and in the BIOS Management Office, where they could obtain detailed information about the project results, available tools, and possibilities for their use.

The central part of the programme was a lecture delivered on behalf of Poduzetnički inkubator BIOS by Emilija Malovčak. During the presentation, the project goals, developed modules and curricula, the educational platform, the mentoring concept “Living Learning Labs”, and the Self-Assessment Tool intended for people aged 55+ were introduced. This tool enables the assessment of technological competences, workplace integration, as well as well-being and job satisfaction.

As part of the event, the official project video was also presented. The video, created as a result of several project activities, showcases examples of good practices from companies that actively implement internal age management measures and employ people aged 55+. Among the highlighted examples is the Osijek-based company Escape, further emphasizing the importance of local initiatives in the field of age management.

“IntegrAGE Day at BIOS” was organised as one of the project activities aimed at raising awareness about the importance of active ageing, extending working lives, and creating an inclusive labour market that recognises the experience and potential of older employees.
